  1. Registration
    • Use the Facebook-Link to automatically register and sign in on Duel24: Please 'Accept' the certificate's warning, when a popup-window appears.
    • Use the Create-Account-Link to manually register on Duel24: follow the registration's instructions.
  2. Sign In
    • Use the Facebook-Link to automatically sign in on Duel24. After the first Sign In you will be mandated to enter some inputs like Duel24-ID and Status: For all required informations, please refer to chapter 'Settings'.
    • Use the Sign In-Form to manually sign in on Duel24. After the first Sign In you will be mandated to enter some inputs like Duel24-ID and Status: For all required informations, please refer to chapter 'Settings'.
  3. Settings
    • Duel24-ID: This field is required and must not be longer as 24 characters;
    • The Status Field is required and indicates your visibility on Duel24:
      • If set to 'Online' you will be visible for all Duel24-users. You could be contacted for duel-challenges.
      • If set to 'Busy' you will still be visible for all Duel24-users: they can contact for duel-challenges, but with the acknowledgment that you are busy.
      • If set to 'Offline' you will not be visible for any Duel24-user (for any contact too). You could not be contacted for duel-challenges.
    • Released personal data and its visibility: please refer to preferrences.

Duels

'Duels' is the Duel-24's main feature. After choosing the menu 'Duels' , the primary navigation-bar will going hidden ( you can display it again by clicking on a navigation-icon in the displayed secondary navigation-bar ) and your current duels (Games ) will be shown:

  • Games : displays your current duels.
    Click on the button 'Add'
    to display all available duel-topics.
  • Topics: displays all available duel-topics.

    click on a Duel-topic (e.g.:'Obosso') or its 'Player(s)' to view all players of the choosen duel-topic.
  • Player(s): displays the momently available players for the choosen duel-topic: don't be afraid to be the first interested ;-) But you can always 'play alone'! Click on a player, on the left-hand side to request a duel. The current 'Top players' of the choosen duel-topic are listed on the right-hand side. After choosing a duel, the secondary navigation-bar will going hidden ( you can display it again by clicking on a navigation-icon ).

    Don't forget to check your statistics for the choosen duel by clicking on the button 'my-statistics', which pops up a window caintaining your statistical charts:

    Click on 'Strongness' button to see your performance from the weakness perspective:
  • Views of the choosen duel:
    • Scores: displays the score(s) of the choosen duel.
      • To request a quiz, click on the button 'Play', or alternatively on a 'not played quiz' (grey buttons).
      • To view the correct answer of a played quiz, click on a right (green button) / wrong (red button) answered quiz.
      • To resign/delete the current duel, click on the red thumbs/trash button.
    • Quiz-topics: displays the choosable quiz-topcis: select the quiz-topic of your choice or cancel the operation by clicking on the scores-icon.
    • Quiz-question and Quiz-answers: displays a playable quiz (1 question + 4 answers), according to the choosen quiz-topic. There is always a timer (in seconds) for a quiz, which is beeing played. You can always change your answer, so long the timeout is not reached. Click on 'OK' to validate your answer. According to the question's type, you can select one answer (radio buttons) or more (check boxes).

      You will be redirected, after you have validated your answer, to 'Scores' if you have selected the right answer, to 'Played Quiz' otherwise.
    • Played Quiz: displays the right/wrong answer(s) of a played quiz, compared to the selected one(s):
      • Wrong answer(s): button(s) with grey background. red-bordered means 'you have choosen this wrong answer :-('.
      • Right answer(s): button(s) with green background: Yellow-bordered means 'well done: you have choosen this right answer :-)'.
        Red-bordered (in case you have choosen none answer) means 'you should have choose this right answer'
        For more explanations on the raison of the right answer, just click on the right answer.
      • Navigation: Click on chevron-buttons (bottom of) to navigate to the previous/next played quiz.
